It’s finally time. You’ve made your decision to ask her, but how are you going to do it? You’re super nervous that she’ll say no and that would be a bummer because while you can always ask someone else, it’s just not the same without your special girl by your side. That’s right. It’s time to ask your girls to be your bridesmaids! So you’ve done the hard part and narrowed down your list. Now you have to follow through and ask them, but how?! Recently I have seen a lot of really cute ideas for asking your girls. There is everything from the sit down lunch to the well thought out proposal down on one knee. Whichever way you chose, here are a few cute ideas to add some personality to this awesome moment.
Okay, I can’t be the only one who immediately thinks of Olivia Pope. Just add some popcorn and you have the perfect Scandal inspired gift basket! I love the idea of adding a label to make it a personalized gift. Check out Etsy for some cute personalized ideas.
I can’t take credit from this idea that I found on Pinterest, but this is such a fun one! Write a note asking your girl to be your bridesmaid. Place the note and some confetti into a balloon. Blow it up and place the balloon in the box. Simple as that! It’s a fun, easy and cheap way to “pop” the question (see what I did there?). You can get the tutorial for this, HERE.
There’s nothing like a song to remind you of all the good times. Burn a CD of your favorite songs together and add a cute note. Remind your girl of all those good times in high school that you spent listening to the radio. After a few songs, she’ll be totally ready to make some new memories with you!
You can also combine any or all of these ideas into a bridesmaids brunch because let’s be honest, who doesn’t enjoy a classy brunch? Check out this story to get some inspiration. Or keep it simple with a card. Once again Etsy comes in with some super awesome ideas. Click HERE to check them out! And for even more ideas, check out this BuzzFeed article. The possibilities are endless! Have fun and happy asking!
